These terms govern use of this website and the submission of commercial enquiries to ANHOR. They do not replace the mandate or transaction documents agreed for a specific fixture.

Professional use

The site is intended for professional counterparties. By using it or submitting a requirement, you confirm that you act for business purposes and are authorised to provide the information submitted.

No quotation or advice

Website content, market notes, calendars, calculators and illustrative comparisons are information only. They are not a firm quotation, an offer to buy or sell, or legal, tax, investment or technical advice.

Brokerage role

ANHOR acts within the agreed mandate as broker, originator or advisor. ANHOR does not take title to fuel, hold inventory, finance cargo or receive buyer funds intended for the seller. The buyer selects the supplier and pays the seller directly unless transaction documents expressly state otherwise.

Remuneration

Where brokerage is supplier-funded, ANHOR’s remuneration is paid by the supplier and disclosed before fixing. The buyer receives no separate ANHOR brokerage invoice unless a different written mandate has been agreed.

Requirements and screening

Submitting a requirement does not oblige ANHOR to approach the market, obtain a particular number of offers or conclude a transaction. Counterparty screening reduces risk but is not a guarantee of performance, solvency, product quality or regulatory outcome.

Accuracy and availability

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. Availability, pricing, credit, payment terms, delivery windows and compliance treatment may change. ANHOR may correct, suspend or withdraw site content without notice.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limit, ANHOR is not liable for decisions made solely from website content, interruptions outside its reasonable control or indirect and consequential loss arising from use of the site.

Intellectual property and links

The ANHOR brand, site design and original content are protected. External links are supplied for context; ANHOR does not control or endorse third-party sites merely by linking to them.

Privacy

Personal data submitted through the site is handled under the Privacy Notice.

Governing law

Unless a written contract states otherwise, these website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
