Independent brokerage

THE CARGO.
THE RIGHT TONNAGE.

Dry bulk, liquid bulk and project cargo. Define the cargo, route and laycan. We seek suitable tonnage and negotiate the freight and charter terms.

Cargo brokerage

Direct. Independent.

We turn a shipping requirement into a commercial brief: cargo description, quantity, load and discharge ports, laycan, handling constraints and charter basis. We approach relevant owners or operators, compare workable indications and negotiate the terms of the proposed fixture.

Dry bulk and breakbulk; liquid bulk; project and oversized cargo. Vessel suitability, availability and the applicable trade restrictions must be checked for each requirement.

Discuss your cargo

Every term matters.

Freight or hire, laycan, ports, cargo and vessel suitability, loading and discharge terms, demurrage and agreed subjects. A fixture is concluded only when the parties reach agreement and all applicable subjects are lifted.

We work directly with charterers and shipowners. Scope, representation and remuneration are agreed in writing before we proceed.

An agreed mandate.

The party represented, the scope of work, commission or fee, who pays it and when it becomes payable are agreed in writing. ANHOR does not receive freight, hire or other client funds on behalf of the contracting parties.
