Data protection
Privacy Notice
This notice explains how the ANHOR desk handles business contact data received through the site and by email.
Controller
For an accessible copy or a data-protection enquiry, contact the ANHOR email desk.
Data we process
We may process company, name, role, business email, optional telephone, vessel, product, quantity, port, window, requested payment terms and requirement details. Do not send passports, banking documents or sensitive KYC files at first contact.
Purposes and lawful basis
Data is used to answer and qualify the requirement, take pre-contractual steps and protect ANHOR and its counterparties. Depending on context, processing relies on pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent where required.
Recipients
Access is limited to people and service providers who need it. Data is not sold. It is disclosed to a counterparty only for a clear purpose within the commercial or compliance process.
Retention
Unpursued enquiries are deleted or minimised when no longer needed. A private recovery copy of each submitted form is retained for no more than 30 days; pseudonymised abuse-prevention counters are limited to 24 hours. Transaction and compliance records are retained for the period required by legal, contractual and claims-protection obligations. The analytics choice is remembered in the browser for up to 180 days; when analytics is accepted, Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire within 13 months.
International transfers
Where providers or counterparties are outside the UK or EEA, appropriate safeguards are used where required by law. Google may process analytics data outside the UK or EEA under its applicable transfer safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where those rights apply. You may also complain to the UK ICO or the competent authority where you live. Email ANHOR email desk or select “Other / privacy” in the form.
Form, analytics and cookies
The form first records a private copy of the entered fields, then attempts to email them to the desk; the interface reports when the relay does not confirm delivery and attachments are not accepted. Abuse protection temporarily uses a keyed hash of the network address, never the raw IP address. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SW3XRYCVBQ) is completely blocked until you select “Accept”. If accepted, Google Analytics may process page URLs, campaign parameters, browser and device information, approximate location and site interactions, and may set _ga cookies. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Rejecting analytics does not limit the site. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep analytics disabled. The former first-party counter is switched off. The host may retain limited technical and security logs.
